Choosing the correct components for your particular application can be confusing and frustrating. Below is a breakdown of components included with the product after choosing a door thickness:

• Exterior and interior handleset trim
• Lever(s)
• Spindle (Sizing will be determined by door thickness)
• Mortise lock (This depends on your door thickness and backset)
• Lock cylinder(s) (This depends on your door thickness)
• Latch strike (This will be determined by door thickness)
• Blocking ring if required (This depends on your door thickness)
• Two keys will be shipped per lock. Three or more items keyed alike will ship a total of 6 keys

Special Notes for Trim Only option:

• Trim Only: This is only recommended if you already have mortise hardware as it only includes the trim, lever, and spindle
• Trim Only: This is not a dummy set; the knob, lever, or thumbpiece will still be functional, for a dummy set see the 6915.FD version

Keyed Entry (Double Cylinder Mortise) Function: Baldwin double cylinder mortise locks are keyed on both sides of the door and can only be locked and unlocked via a key. Often used on doors where glass is near the door that could be easily broken and the thumbturn on a standard single cylinder lock would be accessible, double cylinder locks can also pose a safety hazard in times of emergency due to requiring a key to unlock. Please check local codes before installing. This is a mortise lock which means that all the components are contained within a lock body which sits within a pocket in the door. A mortise style lock is the most secure form of entry set as it has a sturdier installation and is harder to disable.
