Many times passage knobs and levers are used on either a hallway or closet door where no security is necessary, but sometimes are used paired with a deadbolt for an entrance or back door.

CF Mechanism: The concealed fastener mechanism provides a clean, elegant look by concealing both the interior and exterior screws. It also features a 28 degree latch which requires less rotation on the handle to open the door. This is useful for people with ergonomic concerns, such as users who suffer from arthritis.

Living Finish: The flat black and medium bronze finish are living finishes. Over time they will change, wearing away to reveal the metal beneath. This aging takes on the visual characteristics of an antique.
